Hi friends, I’m Danielle (Dani) Sedbrook, a freelance writer and the author of Birds to Bosons, a blog about scientific research on everything from aerospace to biology. When the right words are used anyone can understand even the most complex science, so my goal is to share interesting and important research in an open and accessible way.
My home base is in a small town in southern Germany (Biberach an der Riß–klein. stark. oberschwäbisch.), where I live with my husband and my toddler twins. Before moving across the atlantic to follow my writing dreams, I worked as a lecturer in Organic Chemistry at Columbia University in New York City, where I also earned my Ph.D..
I am always looking for new subjects to explore, so if you are interested in anything in particular, please let me know and I’ll keep an eye out for new research in that area. I am also happy to discuss and provide more information on any of my posts, so if you have a question or suggestion, just leave a comment, and I’ll answer.
